The bi-monthly of the Steam Automobile Club of America was created in 1986 by club president Sam Miner after a brief attempt at publishing club news in a model engineering magazine proved unpopular. Editors since then have been Scott Finegan, Karl Petersen, Tom Elliott, Tom Kimmel, Karl Peterson and now Tom Kimmel and Ken Helmick as acting editors. The publication has grown to a large bimonthly, even more extensive than the original Steam Automobile quarterly.
