and modern electrics are even better.
Sure like to see some real efficiency numbers on this, not the made up EPA equivalents used to promote EVs.

The problem with Musk is that he has gone from using ALL private money, to using captive customers (Solar City) plus more subsidies, and taxpayers (EV subsidies), and a few public loans, to keep his ventures afloat.
None of it is illegal, but the rest of us pay for it (higher taxes), generating resentment of one kind or another (some don't like subsidized false success, others don't like high p

Somewhere on the internet, the numbers are wrong.
41 million btu., is 1224 boiler HP.
Wikipedia is indicating 10 million btu. per hour, which is still a lot.
And this page is indicating 3 Megawatts of heat
The turbine they used is in the 326 hp.

Resonant frequency will vary with temperature.
The electric coils would need to survive high temperature.
Seems to me it would be easier to use a weigh scale.

CAT pumps have been successfully used in several steam projects.
Peter Barret's car started with a home made multi plunger pump. It was replaced with a commercial plunger pump, not sure if it was CAT.
Download several CAT repair manuals (some are better with details than others), but many usable ideas / tips, and ready made repair parts (ceramic plungers fer instance). CAT also has high temp s

At the time trials in Danville, the "Green Monsters" throttle stuck open. (Driver and Howard Langdon on board.) The result was a near catastrophe because the car continued to accelerate past the finish line, around the curve and under a bridge. Howard closed the isolation valve... they managed to miss the bicyclists/pedestrians and spun the car into the hill.

I look forward to your testing, and hope for success.
My experience with Teflon v-ring packings in an air union had a complete failure at less than 100psi., and near room temperature. The Teflon shreds, extrudes, and smears easily.
At 264 psi., the heat deflection temperature is 132 F. You get about 150 F. with glass or carbon filled Teflon.
