I spoke to a grand child of Ralph Hood, His 1899 Electromagnetic Steamer is sitting in a family garage and might be available. The family is interested in having someone restore it and not placed on static display in a museum. I am working on getting current photos and details. http://www.earlyamericanautomobiles.com/massautos.htm Dougby Doug-Ji - SteamStuff
i would believe more if H would put his system into an actual vehicle and put 50 000 km on it. What would be the huge problem if he would get a small pickup truck from a junk yard and put his system and water tank into it?by Doug-Ji - SteamStuff
does anyone know if the cyclone engine has ever been used in an automobile. if so, what was the result? I heard they were attempting a land speed record car but the only one I saw any news about was Chuk's.by Doug-Ji - SteamStuff
a while back I asked a similar question about if an injector had ever been used as the "pump" with a monotube steam generator. it seems like it might work up to about 160 psi. I purchased a Penberthy Injector and hope it attempt using it http://www.steamautomobile.com/ForuM/read.php?1,19489,19489#msg-19489by Doug-Ji - SteamStuff

is there a way to route the propane from pressure valve to the combustion chamber, where it would burn harmlessly away?by Doug-Ji - SteamStuff
I agree with Bill Rolly , I think your model White Steam Generator is Fantastic. A few things to keep in mind when working with propane Propane is HEAVIER than air, so any leaks or venting will settle down into compartments, hulls, etc. This can lead to FATAL results. So use open and well vented configurations Natural Gas has similar advantages of using propane however it is LIGHTER tby Doug-Ji - SteamStuff
