Chicagoland Spring Meet

I just wanted to remind people that the Chicagoland Spring meet will once again be held at Tom Kimmel's steam shop just outside of Berrien Springs, MI. It is scheduled for the third weekend of May on the 20th and 21st.

I'll be traveling past there on about those dates. What the nearest crossroad to this steam shop?

I've attached a map. The main road heading in a generally NNW direction is US-31. The shop is right at the Snow Road intersection. The road leading into the shop is situated right next to the southbound 31 off-ramp and heads generally north.

Is there enough activity to stick around for 2 days? I can stay for one or 2 days, but if Sunday is just a pack and go day, I'll hit the road early.

The activities all depend on how many people attend the Meet. Hopefully, some of the "old timers" will show up this year-I'm gonna be there for sure, and I'm bringing my Model T steamer for us to play with. Tom's collection is one of the best in the USA, and he is the consummate host. There will be interesting people there...freely passing around their excitement and knowledge!

Most likely you'll want to stay for the two days....otherwise you might miss some of the late-comers!!
