Junkyard discoveries

I went to a nearby junkyard yesterday and happened to find a few steam treasures. First I found a large factory steam engine. It appears to be piston valve. I am strongly considering seeing if I can afford to pick it up and then possibly do a little restoration and sell it. However I am curious what that device is with the glass tubes on the side of it.

I also found what kindof look like steam engines but I'm not sure as I didn't bring any tool to open what looks like might be the steam chests. If anyone would like to shed some light on these I would be interested, I would also be interested in disclosing the location of these treasures for compensation of the monetary or possibly steam/machine shop form.

Think the big engine would be worth something as is or restored? i.e. Is it worth picking up?

I was constantly hoping I would turn the corner and find a stanley steamer as i walked through the junkyard.
